Nominations for the Alan Chinn Award for excellence in boatbuilding are now open and being accepted by the Judging Panel and the WBA Secretary.

The WBA Committee is pleased to announce that the members of the Judging Panel for the award in 2020/21 will be Graham Signorini (Chair), Greg Blunt and Paul Rubera.

All members with an eligible project are encouraged to nominate.

The Judging Panel will contact nominees to arrange a time to visit the nominee and look at the project.

The purpose of the award is to recognise the skills and passions of our boatbuilding members and to spread that enthusiasm to all our members. Giving recognition to all our award nominees is more important than choosing the winner. Each nominated project and its owner will be featured in a report in Shavings.

We look forward to hearing about all the projects that are underway, or recently completed, by our club members.
